| | Duties: | RESPONSIBLITIES:
SAFETY:
� Maintain a consistent and unrelenting focus on Safety throughout all job functions.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
� Manage day to day project responsibilities for Steel Plate business. This includes ensuring prompt, accurate and timely delivery of Steel Plates to job sites.
� Meet customer expectations of on time plate delivery
EQUIPMENT OPERATION:
� Drive company flatbed truck with knuckle crane to make local delivers (up to 10 or 12 per day) of steel road plates, excavation shoring boxes and large electrical meters.
� Operate Crane at work site to place Steel plates.
� Perform asphalt patching and steel pinning to secure plates.
TRAFFIC CONTROL INDUSTRY EXPERTISE
o Develop a superior understanding of AWP�s, American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA), national and local traffic control rules and regulations.
o Become a Subject Matter Expert in Work Zone Setup and Design and Professional Flagging responsibilities.
o Obtain ATTSA Certification.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
o Provide the highest level of customer service to all customers.
o Assist managers in resolving any customer service issues quickly and efficiently to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction.
| | Qualifications: | REQUIREMENTS:
� 3 or more years of experience driving a flatbed truck with an exemplary driving record. (Flatbed is under 26,000 GVWR).
� Experienced using a truck mounted knuckle crane or telescoping hydraulic crane.
� Strong customer service mentality and proven track record of customer service success
� Prior experience in Traffic Control Services or Utility or Construction Industry preferred
� Impeccable Driving Record
� Strong knowledge of the Greater Columbus Area in order to ensure proper delivery of product.
� Able to spend the first two weeks of employment training in our Atlanta, GA facility.
� Able to pass DOT physical. CDL license preferred but not required.
HOURS:
� Expected hours are 9 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional response to night or weekend emergencies as needed.
