Rapidly growing $30 million safety services provider based in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Part Time Safety Inspector to service the Daytona Beach and Melbourne, FL area. This person will work closely with customers, management, and flagging employees to provide safe, well managed traffic control for roadway work zones.

This is a part time position working 16 to 24 hours per week. Day Shift Only - occasional weekends. Opportunity to work full time is available by combining another position at different pay rate. |
| Duties: | POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Safety Representative with AWP, you will convey the Corporate focus on SAFETY to employees and customers by providing training and development to an assigned group of employees who provide traffic control solutions to our customers. You will become well versed in traffic control requirements and regulations, and teach our employees how to effectively set up, manage and tear down work sites. This includes proper set up of traffic cones, traffic signs and arrow boards to meet state, local and Company requirements. You will work closely with the employees to educate them on safety standards and safe work zone requirements. You will travel to multiple work zone sites in a day in one of our company vehicles to work with employees and assist with any issues that may arise.
The Safety Representative also assists with any necessary employee issues and communicates appropriately with regional office, including discipline, call-offs, scheduling and customer complaints.
The Safety Representative is responsible for developing a superior understanding of AWP�s, American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA), Florida Department of Transportation and local traffic control rules and regulations. You must become a Subject Matter Expert in Work Zone Setup and Design and Professional Flagging responsibilities and obtain ATTSA Certification.

| Qualifications: | POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
� 2 or more years of experience managing people and process
� Strong customer service mentality and proven track record of customer service success
� Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills
� Prior experience preferred in Traffic Control Services or Utility or Construction Industry
� Comfortable with a computer including some experience with MS Word, MS Excel and email.
� Current Valid Drivers License, with very good driving history.
� Clean Criminal Background
