AWP (Area Wide Protective) is Americas Traffic Control Leader, representing nearly every major public utility electric, gas, and telecommunications. We provide turn-key traffic control solutions, including professional flagging, equipment rental, and full scale work zone management. Daily we deploy over 600 associates to handle simple to complex traffic control situations to keep the motoring public, and our customers safe.
Receptionist - Dispatcher - 3rd Shift (12:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
Must be punctual and reliable.
|Duties:|| Answer 24 hour 800 number that provides emergency call in service for our customers in our 18 regional offices. Dispatch appropriate resources as needed.|
Provide superb and friendly service and response that exceed customer expectations and provide the customer with a positive experience.
Weekly, review time tickets from source data (employee time sheets, utilized equipment, etc.) with the objective of 100% accuracy and timeliness.
Ability to learn and use proprietary, custom internal software package.
Communicate with customers regarding traffic control needs.
Communicate with employees regarding job assignments and locations.
Answer phones and respond to inquiries using a professional and courteous demeanor.
Enter information into proprietary Time keeping system.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
|Qualifications:|| Detail oriented and organized.|
Superb interpersonal communication skills; pleasant speaking voice.
Outgoing personality not afraid to approach individuals or ask questions.
High school degree required, some college preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, Power Point).
Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Strong customer service mentality and proven track record of customer service success
Prior experience in an administrative role preferred, answering phones or providing customer service.
